First, I want to say Happy Easter and/or Passover to all of those choosing to exercise their Freedom of Religion as envisioned by our Founding Fathers.
For many, Easter is seen as the beginning of Spring that ushers in blooming flowers, bountiful crops and the promise of better things to come. However, due to the feckless and corrupt politicians currently in power, both at the federal level, as well as right here in Nevada, the Spring of 2022 has only delivered higher prices and lower expectations.
Now, more than ever, strong leadership is required at all levels of government. Why? Because our career politicians have proven they lack either the will, character or moral fortitude to say what needs to be said or do what needs to be done.
It’s time for the People of Nevada to realize that the root of all of our problems, from abysmal state government services to an even worse education system, is due to the continual crop of self-serving career politicians and political insiders who have proven they’re either corrupt, incompetent, or both. The kicker is that they expect you and I to pick up the tab for their corruption and/or incompetence.
If there’s one thing the Pandemic has taught us is we don’t have to continue doing things the same way we’ve been doing them because that’s the way they’ve always been done.
It’s time for the pendulum to swing away from emotional justifications as the ruling force and move toward commonsense solutions.
It’s time for Republicans to be “the agents of change” that is so badly needed. That’s why Tom Heck’s plans for Nevada are based on defined goals combined with clear accountability for those responsible for getting the job done. It’s time for the people to begin expecting more from the government they’re paying form. That’s exactly what Tom Heck promises to deliver as the next governor of Nevada.
